Ana Crismán has built a storied career as one of the only harp performers to capture a flamenco sound with her instrument. Her refined approach to flamenco music is captured through the variety of palos (styles) she plays; including seguiriya, soleá, bulerías, and more. Since childhood, Crismán grew up surrounded by flamenco in her hometown of Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, known for its rich flamenco culture. The music from La Plazuela and San Miguel neighborhood, where Lola Flores (a famed flamenco singer) was born, shaped her early years. Her unique approach to Spanish music is bolstered with the addition of a vocalist and percussionist. Together the 3 musicians celebrate the world of flamenco music with their original style.
