Inspiring performances, luminous sound, and exceptional musicianship are the hallmarks of the Grammy-winning Parker Quartet. Renowned for its “exceptional virtuosity [and] imaginative interpretation” (The Washington Post), the group has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation, dedicated purely to the sound and depth of their music. The Quartet dazzles with a program of Dvořák, Schumann, and more.

TIPS FOR A GREAT VISIT

The Patio Stage is a covered, open-air venue on the Music Center’s Trawick Terrace.
Tickets are sold as pods, each with a table and 4 seats. Guests can fill all 4 of the table’s seats or enjoy additional space.
There are 31 physically distanced tables in the venue. Each table is 6 feet apart.
Guests sharing a table must arrive together for seating. Seating begins 15 minutes before show time.
Performances will last 60–70 minutes and will not include an intermission.

Strathmore is located on Rockville Pike (Route 355), half a mile north of the Capital Beltway (I-495).
Complimentary parking for Patio Stage events is in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage off Tuckerman Lane.
Members at the 2 Star level and above can park in the Mansion lot on specific nights. View more detailed information here.

Our long-held, generous ticket exchange policy means you never have to worry when buying tickets to a future show. During these uncertain times, we’re making it even easier to request a refund or exchange.
Free exchanges and refunds are allowed up to 48 hours before the performance. You can exchange your tickets for a $5 fee (waived for Stars & Circles members) within the 48 hours before a performance.
If a show is cancelled or postponed, ticket refunds will always be available.

This performance was rescheduled from March 4, 2021 at The Mansion.
All previously purchased tickets will be refunded to the original payment method. Please contact the Ticket Office if you prefer to exchange your tickets for a different Strathmore Presents performance or change your ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation.

A Sneak Peek at The Patio Stage

A rendering of The Patio Stage at dusk. Tables seat 1–4 guests and are surrounded by 6 feet of space on all sides for your comfort. The covered space is open on 3 sides allowing for excellent airflow.

Guests will be seated a little further back from the stage than you may be used to, but there is not a bad seat in the house to experience energizing performances by outstanding artists. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting we’re ready to welcome a variety of artists!

The Patio Stage sits on the Trawick Terrace, just outside the lobby on the Orchestra Level of the Music Center. The venue is covered by a large tent with open sides.
