Local roots quartet Charm City Junction is taking the national acoustic music scene by storm, earning high praise for their energetic, innovative, and creative sound. Building on the foundation laid by prior generations of Baltimore Bluegrass, Irish, and Old-Time musicians, the group’s latest release Duckpin debuted at number six on the Billboard Bluegrass charts. The band is comprised of 2017 IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Patrick McAvinue, Brad Kolodner on clawhammer banjo, nationally renowned button accordion player Sean McComiskey, and the versatile bassist Alex Lacquement who locks everything together with his commanding sound.
