Award-winning group Veronneau, fronted by Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and UK guitarist Ken Avis, transport audiences to 1971 when American music changed forever with the release of Joni Mitchell's Blue and Carole King's Tapestry. Through anecdotes and songs, Veronneau and Avis celebrate these landmark albums that spotlighted women as composers and performers, telling Mitchell and King’s stories in their own words. Two of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums of all time, Blue and Tapestry are packed with songs of inspiration, love, home, and loss.
Veronneau has performed at the Music Center at Strathmore, as well as the Kennedy Center, the legendary Blues Alley supper club, the DC Jazz Festival, and across the US, Canada, and Europe.
