The Alaya Project

Redefining musical boundaries, The Alaya Project fuses Carnatic Indian classical music with contemporary jazz and funk. Percussionist Rohan Krishnamurthy, saxophonist Prasant Radhakrishnan, and pianist-accordionist Colin Hogan's innovative blend of intricate rhythms and soulful melodies reflect two decades of friendship and musical exploration. Joining them is vocalist Priya Darshini, whose debut solo album, Periphery, was a 2021 Grammy nominee for Best New Age Album.
