For the past 45 years, the Grammy-winning group BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet has been making some of the most potent and popular Cajun music on the planet. Born out of the rich Acadian ancestry of its members and driven by bandleader Michael Doucet, BeauSoleil is notorious for bringing audiences to their feet with their captivating sound. They derive their distinct style from the distilled spirits of New Orleans jazz, blues rock, folk, swamp pop, Zydeco, country, and bluegrass.
Having toured countless venues from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival to Carnegie Hall, BeauSoleil comes to Strathmore as part of their farewell tour, “One Last Time—Au Revoir!” You won’t want to miss the final round of performances for this icon in Cajun music.
