Led by vocalist Marsha Goodman-Wood—a former cognitive neuroscientist with a warm, rich voice—Marsha and the Positrons is a local kindie (kids + indie) band specializing in feel-good educational music. Blending jazz and pop rock, the group is acclaimed for inspiring curiosity about science and how the world works. Winner of a 2023 NAPPA (National Parenting Products Awards) for their release, Energetic, Marsha and the Positrons’ catchy tunes mix science facts with messages about kindness and friendship. The band also includes Ayanna Gallant on percussion/vocals, and David Durst on keys, as well as various guest Positrons!
RSVP is requested. RSVP allows us to notify you of event and weather changes.
