American Patchwork Quartet is a one-of-a-kind supergroup that hones its musical identity from the backgrounds of its diverse members. On a mission to reclaim the immigrant soul of American roots music, their cultural threads draw from jazz, country, folk, West African, and East Asian influences. Led by Grammy-winning guitarist Clay Ross, founder of Ranky Tanky, the group includes Moto Fukushima on bass, Rudy Royston on drums, and Harini Raghavan on vocals and violin. Together, with an assortment of sounds, stories, and instruments, their performance is a musical personification of America’s melting pot.
