Percussionist Tosin Aribisala is considered a renaissance force in music, incorporating jazz, gospel, rock, Afrobeat, and Yoruba rhythms into his high-energy, dynamic original compositions. Leading a seven-piece band, Aribisala performs songs in English, Yoruba, and Pidgin English—the languages he spoke growing up in Lagos, Nigeria. He draws inspiration from the likes of Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Sting, and Tony Allen and has shared the stage with Hugh Masekela, Femi Kuti, Fatoumata Diawara, and many others.
