Rochelle Rice is a dynamic and compelling vocalist and songwriter. Moving forward with the tides of popular music while still remembering the past, Rochelle effortlessly combines jazz, soul, pop, and rock & roll. Her profound and flawless sound joins the singer-songwriters of the 1960s and the contemporary jazz vocalists of today.
Rice is joined by bēheld, a new women's vocal group which features social justice songs of the past 75 years in conversation with today's pop and soul hits. Born out of the pandemic, the group has blossomed over the past three years, performing at worship events, conferences, public demonstrations, and at the vigil honoring the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. bēheld is comprised of Jen Hayman, Julie James, Norah Quinn McCormick, Loyce Pace, Meg Parker Young, Rochelle Rice, Nicole Rumeau, and Melinda St. Louis.
