Bonded by their deep love of music, their crafts, and a genuine connection, Arielle Rosales (flamenco), Brinda Guha (Kathak), and Amanda Castro (tap) have been performing together since 2010, ultimately forming Soles of Duende in 2018. The acclaimed percussive dance trio and Bessies Award-nominated artists, hailed as "a treasure and a triumph" by The New York Times, have consistently expanded their scope of work by engaging in collaborations with live musicians from diverse disciplines. Throughout the past six years, Soles of Duende has delivered dynamic performances that embody compelling storytelling, while remaining dedicated to prioritizing education, conversation, and advocacy in every aspect of the trio's process and performance.
