National Philharmonic’s 40th Anniversary Season concludes with a triumphant celebration of three masterpieces of classical music from the past century conducted by Naima Burrs. Burrs leads the NatPhil Orchestra in the overture to Dame Ethel Smyth’s The Boatswain’s Mate, Margaret Bonds’ Montgomery Variations, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5.
